He is 20 in long and weighs 8 lbs 4 oz. Everyone is doing well here, and we wanted to put up a few more pictures.

Connor is Here!!!!

Our little boy was born at 4:20 this morning, after 20 hours of labor. We don't know any other details still like height and weight but we'll post them when we know. Here are the first pictures of him!

Connor's Room

We have been putting the nursery together over the last few weeks and we've got it pretty much done now, minus a few wall decorations. We like the way it has turned out, and hopefully our little guy will too. If he likes airplanes as much as Paul that won't be a problem.

He loves the water and wants SO BAD to rescue anything in it. Rocks, shells, sticks, even huge logs that are way bigger than he is. Funny!

Just beyond the hill is the volcano crater, which we couldn't see through the fog.

Here are some pictures from our trips up Mt. Rainier. Hopefully this will inspire some of you to come visit us! We can be there in less than 1 hour from our house. We have driven around the entire mountain twice and have been on several smaller trips as well. There are SO many waterfalls and streams and everything is so scenic and pretty! We love spending time there. 

These pictures are from a place called Paradise, on the south side of the mountain. There are whole fields of wildflowers and plenty of streams, waterfalls, and trails. It's just above 5,000'.

These are from another trip when we just went searching for waterfalls. We found tons!

We went in June and there was still this much snow, even though we didn't get any at our house all winter.

Connor's New Bed

We have been working hard on getting the nursery ready for our little guy! The airplane theme is coming along nicely. Only 1 1/2 weeks till the due date. (Although he'll probably come late.)

The beginning of our blog.

Ever since we moved to Washington Paul and I have talked about starting up a blog to keep family and friends informed about our adventures. We always decided that we didn't have enough going on to warrant a blog, so we never took the time to start one. But...now that we are going to have a baby, I'm sure we will have plenty to post about! And posting it on a blog will be much easier than emailing cute pictures to everyone, so here we are! Hope you enjoy. :)
