Last Sunday we set up a photo studio upstairs in our house and took some pictures. We got some really cute shots of Connor although he wasn't as cooperative as we would have liked. We also took our first family portrait with the three of us. We tried to get Buster in there with us but he was less than interested in posing for a picture, especially if it involved Connor laying by him - he just likes to sniff his toes.

His first hiccups
We had to take him to the pediatrician yesterday just to be checked on. Everything is good now with him and they didn't have any concerns anymore. In all the excitement, he got his first hiccups. He was strapped down in his carseat on the way over so we recorded this on Carrie's phone which means it's not the best quality, but you get the idea...

We're Home!
Yay! Today we got to bring our little guy home. We were so grateful we got leave and have our own home back with a little family to fill it.
Last night we had our first and only visitors at the hospital. Jake and Tiffany came over to visit and Connor and Tiffany became fast friends. He was so peaceful the whole time they were there and just snuggled up and went to sleep in Tiffanys arms.
They are going to come visit again tomorrow and return our puppy to us. It will be funny to watch his reaction to Conner. We are very interested in how that will go. Buster has been so good around kids though, and he'll be a good big brother.
Here are a few other pictures we took at the hospital:
After we got the go ahead today, we changed him into some cute clothes and loaded him into his car seat.
He liked his car ride and we are all so happy to be home finally. Here are a few pics of his adventure.

Connor's Room
We have been putting the nursery together over the last few weeks and we've got it pretty much done now, minus a few wall decorations. We like the way it has turned out, and hopefully our little guy will too. If he likes airplanes as much as Paul that won't be a problem.
Here is a video tour of his new digs:
Now that his official due date is here, he can come anytime. We're ready and waiting.

Buster playing in the sound
He loves the water and wants SO BAD to rescue anything in it. Rocks, shells, sticks, even huge logs that are way bigger than he is. Funny!
Mt. Rainier
| In the car driving around the mountain |
| Just beyond the hill is the volcano crater, which we couldn't see through the fog. |
Here are some pictures from our trips up Mt. Rainier. Hopefully this will inspire some of you to come visit us! We can be there in less than 1 hour from our house. We have driven around the entire mountain twice and have been on several smaller trips as well. There are SO many waterfalls and streams and everything is so scenic and pretty! We love spending time there.
These pictures are from a place called Paradise, on the south side of the mountain. There are whole fields of wildflowers and plenty of streams, waterfalls, and trails. It's just above 5,000'.
These are from another trip when we just went searching for waterfalls. We found tons! |
| We went in June and there was still this much snow, even though we didn't get any at our house all winter. |
They're all over just on the side of the road!
