Announcing the Arrival of Parker Alan!

He was born at 9:39 pm on 4/24. Mom really only had to labor for about 6 or 7 hours, too bad half of that had to be without the epidural. Parker and Mom are doing very well now and we expect to go home first thing Thursday morning.

Getting dressed for the first time

Big brother Connor came to visit with Ga'ma today. He was curious, cautious, and maybe even a little shy at first...
We had him open a present from baby Parker to keep him entertained while he was visiting. In the end the trucks out on the freeway were far more exciting than the laptop that had just been opened. Oh well.

After a few more minutes of introduction, Connor was patting Parker's head and giving him love pats, then it grew to kisses, but of  coarse not for the camera.... that takes some prompting to capture.

Whenever he sees a dirty diaper he says "gross, don't touch it."  But his "gross" sounds like "brrr."

We got lucky with a week of really nice weather, so we took advantage of it to try out Paul's new RC airplane.  He loved it and Connor loved watching it fly!  We also spent some time at the park but Connor was more interested in playing with the rocks than swinging.

Cabelas, Zoo and Fair

Connor really likes animals. The only exception most recently we went to a family farm where the sheep were out roaming around and there was one named Oscar who took a liking to Connor and tried to get him to pet him. Connor was not a big fan of having a big sheep head so close and the definately didn't like Oscar sniffing his toes!
